Since 2001 every year the Black forest chance into an African country. This year is the 16th African Music Festival in Emmendingen. Starting today the African culture is celebrated for 3 days at the Schlossplatz in Emmendingen. It is not just about music from the African continent, it is also about the South American Rhythm Salsa, Jamaican Reggae and a lot more.
There won´t be just Visitors from Germany but also from France, Austria and Swiss. For all Visitors from abroad, they organized some Camping places. Everything is ready, the schedule is done and today the big 3 day will start.
Apart from the artist, there will be a big African- World- Bazaar with cloths, textiles, Instruments, Jewelry, and handicrafts. For those who love the African style, there will be possibilities to braid Rastas.
With so many options of activities, the stomach should be filled. The catering service offers a variety of culinary delights.
