This year, the Keep it Real Jam Dancehall und Reggae Festival is going to take place at Seepark Pfullendorf on August 10 and 11. There is a camping ground available for the two-day event. Children up to 12 years get free entry. For adults tickets are purchasable starting from 41 euro.

Here is some information about a few famous artists who will perform at the festival:

Randy Valentine

The multi- talent is a producer, songwriter and performer. His most successful song is “Bring back to love” which was published in 2013. Valentine currently performed with Ghana’s hottest artist Ruff N Smooth. This year he is going to perform a special open-air show.

Kabaka Pyramid

Kabaka (Ugandan for King) has ancient African roots. He has a passion for music ever since he was born. At a very young age, he started to record songs with his mother’s tape recorder. The Breakthrough Artist (JARIA – Breakthrough Artist of the Year 2013) is known for his new style, conscious lyrics and his fresh sounds.

Jahmiel

Jahmiel is a reggae/dancehall artist. and was born in Portmonee, Jamaica. He is really passionate about music and started writing his own songs at the age of four. Jahmiel is inspired by Bob Marley, Buju Banton, Junior and SIzzla Kalonji. The most famous songs of the upcoming shootingstar are “True Colours“, “Gain the World“ and “Where were U“.

Spice

Spice is a “queen of performance” and has already had a lot of success with her songs “Mi Gone“, “Right There“ and “Fight Over Man“. In 2008 she made it into the American Billboard Hot 100.

Virgo is only seventeen years old and has a sensational voice. He is the winner of Digicel Rising Star. In addition, he also won the IWRAMA Most Promising Artist, JARIA Artist oft the year and the Prime Minister Youth Award.

Capleton

Capleton (also known as the Fireman and King Shango) is one of the most succesful and famous Jamaican artists. His success for conscious-tunes and dancehall is unstoppable.

His top hits are “Bumbo Red” and “Number One on the Look Good Chart”. He also won the award Irawma most outstanding stage personality of 2005 & 2006 and the Irawma 2009 Community Service Award.
